PATCHWORK is a simple yet versatile patch bay, ideal for pedal boards and desktop spaces alike.
It has twelve 6.35 mm TRS sockets on the back, each of which break out into two 3.5 mm TS sockets (eurorack style) on the top panel.
This system enables streamlined connection to effects pedals via TRS to dual TS cables (aka insert cables).
PATCHWORK can also be used to connect to instruments, interfaces, mixers, amplifiers, etc.

PATCHWORK
TRS (tip-ring-sleeve) sockets can carry two separate signals. PATCHWORK breaks these signals out into two separate TS sockets on the top panel.
Using TRS to dual TS cables (AKA insert cables), a single 6.35 mm TRS socket on the back of PATCHWORK can be used to connect to:
input and output of an effects pedal;
left and right channels on an instrument, mixer, interface, etc.
two mono inputs/outputs on an instrument, mixer, interface, etc.
The 3.5 mm sockets on the top can then be used as patch points to easily route a signals through pedals and create complex chains.
NOTE: Standard TRS cables can be used to carry stereo signals, however left and right channels must be patched separately on the top panel.

setup examples
DIRECT PATCHING: If you have a mixer with 3.5 mm inputs (e.g. Cre8Audio Assembler), simply unplug an instrument from the mixer, patch straight into the PATCHWORK, and then into the input on the mixer. This is probably the most streamlined way to use a patch bay, with significantly less cabling required.
GUITAR: It's fine to plug a TS cable into any of the TRS sockets on the back of PATCHWORK, it just means that you lose the lower corresponding socket on the top panel as a patch point. Usually, it's easiest to have one dedicated socket on the back for guitar and another for your amp. But that still leaves you room for ten pedals to play with (and experiment with different signal chains)!
TOO MANY SYNTHS: If you find yourself with more instruments than inputs on your mixer or interface, PATCHWORK is a great way to have everything hooked up - just patch it in when required.
Like any patch bay, PATCHWORK has a wide variety of applications. Below are just a few examples to give you a general idea of how it might be used.
